Urofollitropin injection is a fertility medication containing a highly purified form of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), used to stimulate egg development in women undergoing fertility treatment. It is available under brand names such as Bravelle (discontinued in the U.S.), Sitrodin, Foliculin HP, and Diva FSH.

Urofollitropin is prescribed by a physician thoroughly experienced in fertility disorders for specific conditions: 

• Ovulation Induction: To help women who cannot become pregnant due to problems with ovulation (e.g., polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS) produce and release a mature egg.

• Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART): To stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs (follicles) for procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intrauterine insemination (IUI).
