• Mechanism of Action: Triptorelin is an analog of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It initially causes a brief surge in luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels, followed by a sustained decrease (downregulation) in their production. This results in significantly lowered levels of sex hormones like testosterone in men and estrogen in women.
