Rivaroxaban is an oral anticoagulant (blood thinner) used to prevent and treat blood clots, reduce stroke risk in atrial fibrillation, and manage deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE). It works by inhibiting to prevent clots. Common doses are taken 1–2 times daily, often with food, and it does not require regular blood monitoring.
