Posaconazole oral suspension (brand names such as Noxafil, Picasa, and Posoxil) is a prescription antifungal medication used to treat and prevent severe fungal infections in adults and children with weakened immune systems. It is available as a liquid suspension, typically at a concentration of 40 mg/mL.

Posaconazole oral suspension is used to prevent serious fungal infections caused by Aspergillus and Candida species in high-risk, immunocompromised patients, such as those undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia or who have had a stem cell transplant. It is also indicated for the treatment of yeast infections in the mouth and throat (oropharyngeal candidiasis), including cases where other medications like fluconazole or itraconazole have failed.
